We have received information indicating multiple public gatherings and protests scheduled for Saturday, July 10th through Saturday, July 31st. Tentative info for the protest activity is listed below:

Scheduled Protests/Assemblies

Saturday, July 10th, 2021

  • 1:30 pm at 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park). The group will gather for their cause โ€œSenator Durbin, We Canโ€™t Wait: Voting Rights, Climate Action & Money for Care Now!โ€

Sunday, July 11th, 2021

  • 2:00 pm at 500 N Michigan to 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza). The group will gather for their cause โ€œSrebrenica Genocide Commemoration Day.โ€

Tuesday, July 13th, 2021

  • 8:00 am at 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza). The group will gather for their cause โ€œRally to Support the American Jobs Plan.โ€

Saturday, July 17th, 2021

  • 12:00 pm at 69 W Washington (Cook County). The group will gather for their cause โ€œWhere are You Kim Foxx? 75 Women of Color Murdered.โ€

Saturday, July 24th, 2021

  • 11:00 am at 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza). The group will gather for their cause โ€œMarch for Medicare for All (M4A).โ€
  • 12:00 pm at 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza). The group will gather for their cause โ€œAbolish ICE / No More Kids in Cages / Biden Close the Camps.โ€

Sunday, July 25th to August 1st, 2021

  • This will take place at various locations and the group will gather for their cause โ€œAnimal Activism Mentorship.โ€ (Animal rights activists planning multiple small-scale protest events during week)

Monday, July 26th, 2021

  • 12:00 pm at an unknown Loop location. The group will gather for their cause โ€œHolding the Powerful Accountable Protest.โ€

Friday, July 30th, 2021

  • 6:00 pm at 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza). The group will gather for their cause โ€œChicago Critical Mass Bicycle Caravan.โ€

Saturday, July 31st, 2021

  • 4:00 pm at 401 N Wabash (Trump Tower). The group will gather for their cause โ€œSave Our Children March (QAnon).โ€
  • 6:00 pm at 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park). The group will gather for their cause โ€œLollapalooza: No Justice, No Peace.โ€

Safety Tips:

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
  • If you see an unattended bag, alert police as quickly as possible
